Job Description:
Performs janitorial duties for the cleaning and upkeep of all facilities; performs general building maintenance such as electrical maintenance, plumbing of sinks, bathrooms and sewers; light building repairs including laying of tiled floors; general carpentry duties to fix doors, woodwork, plaster repairs, and other related duties for building maintenance for the interior and exterior of NITCO facilities and grounds; frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and required to work in the event of building maintenance emergencies; performs other duties when needed to assist in the operations of the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis
Knowledge in cleaning products and machines
Basic knowledge in electricity
Basic knowledge in plumbing
Basic knowledge in carpentry
Ability to work independently
Reliable individual who will follow orders and get the job done
Dependable and punctual individual
Safety conscious for self as well as for all employees by maintaining a clean and safe environment
