Bills and Payments

All bills are mailed by the first of the month and due upon receipt each month. Your toll statement for calls within your LATA (Local Access Transport Areas) will be included. Bills become delinquent if not received in our office by the end of the business day on the 17th of the month.

A Delinquent Account is subject to a delinquent charge of $0.30 plus 3% of the amount above $3.00. Please pay promptly.

Service will be discontinued if the bill is not paid. If your phone is disconnected a reconnect charge of $12.00 will be added to your bill.

Failure to receive a bill does not cancel payment policy.

(Please note, when paying at locations other than Northwestern Indiana Telephone Company, representatives are only allowed to take payment for the exact amount of the bill up to the 17th of the month.)

Weekends and after business hours
Payments may be dropped off in our night depository at the business office located at 205 North Washington Street, in Hebron. When paying in person, please bring the bill and the bill stub with you. This will save time.

Paying By Mail

Payments can be made by mail. Please return the bill stub with your payment in the return envelope. This will speed up the crediting of your account. If the stub is gone, please write your telephone number on your check. Please allow seven to ten days if mailing your payment.

Electronic Funds Transfer

Now our NITCO customers can pay their bill direct from their bank! Make your NITCO payments quick and easy with the new Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program. Just print this form and return it filled out and signed, along with a voided check to the NITCO business office.
